About Sparrow Class​

Sparrow Class is our Pre School class located in our purpose built building on the John Moore Primary School Site. All the children in Wren class move up together into Sparrows so those fantastic friendships they have made will be built upon this year. Though the focus is still on play we start to introduce very short sessions of more formal learning.

We have PE and Outdoor Learning once a week. We have our own play area we use all day but we also have access to the school field after lunchtime. 

​

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework and while your children are with us we will support their learning and individual development. We also work closely with the JMPS Reception Team and other local Primary Schools to ensure that children are ready for their transition over to their respective Primary Schools.

We use Famly in setting as it is a fantastic tool for communication and sharing your child's learning journey with you. Kinga currently sends out a weekly roundup of what the class has been doing this week and sharing our 4 S's with you!
