WORKING TOGETHER TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE ONLINE
About E-Safety in our School
As a School we take E-Safety very seriously. We feel it is very important to engage with our Children and understand what they are doing online. We feel that this is very much a Partnership between what we teach our Children in School through to supporting Parents and Carers with continuing these messages at home.
Our Staff and Governors receive training to raise awareness of E-Safety and understand how to support our Children to keep them safe online. E-Safety is very much part of the Curriculum with us teaching our Children tips on how to stay safe online being very much part of our everyday awareness.
The School is working towards accreditation for E-Safety to achieve the 360 Degree E-Safety Mark. We are currently at the first stage ‘certificate of commitment’. This stage sees us working through a self evaluation tool that will allow us to access what else we need to do to improve E-Safety in our School Community.
Parents E-Safety Sessions
We held a training session for Parents and Carers on 10 / 11 December 2014. The evening was a success with many parents finding the evening thought provoking, informative and useful.
